After decades of pushing far-left policies, Rep. Gerry Connolly has announced he won’t seek reelection in 2026. This retirement comes as Republicans currently hold a razor-thin 220-213 House majority, where just seven seats determine control of Congress.
Why does this matter to conservatives like you? Because this is our chance to flip a seat that’s been under liberal control for far too long.
For 14 years, Connolly has been Northern Virginia’s voice on Capitol Hill, culminating a political career spanning over three decades. During his time in the House Oversight Committee, he’s been a consistent roadblock to conservative policies.
In his leadership role, Connolly has “harshly criticized” President Trump’s efforts to overhaul the federal workforce and launched multiple investigations targeting the Department of Government Efficiency. He’s consistently stood against the America First agenda that is rebuilding our nation.
The liberal establishment worked hard to keep Connolly in power. When his Oversight Committee position became vacant, Connolly defeated Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a 131-84 vote with Nancy Pelosi’s backing – proving that the Democratic establishment will do anything to maintain control.
According to Newsweek’s reporting, Democrats face significant challenges in 2026, including defending 13 districts that President Trump won in 2024. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has already identified 35 Republican-held districts they’re targeting.
Now is the time for conservatives to rally together. With your support, we can:
Please stay tuned to the 11th Congressional District GOP to join the effort to turn Virginia’s 11th District red in 2026 and retire Gerry Connolly’s liberal legacy for good.
