District Canvass
of the 11th Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia
June 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

As Chairman of the 11th Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and District Committee By-laws and as recommended and directed by the District Committee, I, Rosie Oakley, do hereby issue this Call for a District Party Canvass to be held on June 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Fairfax High School, 3501 Lion Run, Fairfax, VA 22030 for the purpose of:
(a) Nominating a Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, to be voted for in the September 9, 2025, 11th Congressional District Special Election.
Early Voting
An early voting opportunity will be provided for anyone who cannot vote on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for any reason. Voters may cast their ballot during the early voting session which will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22035.
Qualifications for Participation
All legal and qualified voters of the 11th Congressional District under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.
Filing Requirements
Candidates for the nomination at said canvass shall pay a filing fee of $3480.00 by check, money order, or digital payment (submitted at https://11cdgop.org for which the candidate must elect the option to pay the online processing fee) and file a written statement by mail or in person to

which must be received not later than Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 12:01 PM. The statement shall affirm that the candidate meets the requirements for serving in the U.S. House of Representatives (Citizen of the United States for the past seven years on or before taking office, Twenty-five years of age on or before taking office, Residence within Virginia on or before being elected) and shall include as an attachment a completed State Board of Elections Form 505/520 (Declaration of Candidacy) which may be found at the following web address: https://www.elections.virginia.gov/candidatepac-info/candidate-forms/index.html.
Registration and Fee
Legal and qualified voters of the 11th Congressional District may pre-register for the Party Canvass at https://11cdgop.org. There is no fee for participation in the Party Canvass.
Onsite registration will be available during the Canvass voting periods, but voters who do not pre-register should be prepared to wait in line for the Credentials Committee to verify that each registrant is in “accord with the principles of the Republican Party” and, if requested, will “express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election,” pursuant to the Republican Party of Virginia Plan of Organization and the qualifications for participation outlined within this Official Call.
