FAIRFAX, VA — Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, whose education-first agenda ignited a national movement for parental rights and school choice, is endorsing Republican Stewart Whitson in the special election to represent Virginia’s 11th Congressional District.
“Stew is an Army combat veteran and champion for common sense conservative values who will serve Virginia well in Congress,” said Governor Youngkin. “He has my full support, and I urge everyone in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District to vote for him in September.”
Whitson, a father of five school-aged children, has spent his career defending the Constitution — first in combat zones as a U.S. Army officer, then as an FBI Special Agent, and now as a leader in government accountability on Capitol Hill. Like Youngkin, Whitson has made parental rights, school choice, and restoring integrity in public institutions core pillars of his campaign.
“I’m honored to have Governor Youngkin’s endorsement — not just because he’s the leader of our state, but because he inspired a movement of parents, families, and patriots,” said Whitson. “Like the Governor, I believe parents should be the primary decision-makers in their children’s education, and I’ll fight in Congress to ensure they have that right.”
The special election for Virginia’s 11th Congressional District will be held in September, with early voting beginning soon. To learn more or get involved, visit whitsonforcongress.com.
