VIRGINIA'S 11TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT REPUBLICANS

A Message and Download from Outgoing 11CD Chair Rosie Oakley

As the outgoing Chair of the 11th Congressional District Republican Committee, I would like to thank you all for your kindness and support during the past two years. Serving on the Republican Party of Virginia’s State Central Committee, along with Nick Andersen, Matt Braynard and Steve Rogers, while representing our District, has been an honor. It was great to have the opportunity to meet patriots from across our Commonwealth, who I would have never crossed paths with otherwise. Thank you also to Mike van Meter and Stewart Whitson, the two candidates who ran for Congress in 11CD during my tenure. They were tremendous to work with and represented our party exceptionally during their campaigns.

Only one candidate filed for the position of Chairman of the 11th District, so congratulations to Matt Braynard, who will do an outstanding job!

We are in the fight of our lives for the future of Virginia. Democrats want to redistrict Virginia’s 6 Democrats/5 Republicans Congressional map to an outrageous 10-1 in favor of Democrats. Passed by the Democrat-controlled General Assembly and signed by Governor Spanberger, if the new map passes, the voices of 45% of Virginia’s voters will be silenced. A ballot referendum is scheduled for April 21, and Early Voting starts on March 6. Most people do not expect an election of consequence in April, so it is imperative that we are all informed and talking to our friends and neighbors about why they must vote NO!

All hands are needed on deck, so please stay tuned for ways you can get involved in the coming weeks!

See you in the trenches as we fight to save Virginia from one-party rule.

Onward,

Rosie Oakley

Former 11th District Chair
