Early voting for the November general election is still open! Please be sure to come out and vote early. We’re a little more than one month out from the election and we want to bank as many votes as we can now!
This week’s updates from around the district:
Visit the 11th District’s website at 11cdgop.org for all information updates.
In his latest newsletter, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Jeff McKay proudly touted that Fairfax County “remains the safest jurisdiction of its size in the nation.” Tell that to the Herndon rape victim. Tell that to the victims of increasing property crimes and smash-and-grab robberies in the Tysons malls. Tell that to the person who has to share a locker room at a county school or Rec Center with someone of the opposite sex.
Descano, of course, will not heed AG Miyares’s call to resign. It’s up to us, the voters, to hold him accountable. As long as Fairfax County continues to elect Steve Descano, Jeff McKay and his 90% Democrat Board of Supervisors and 100% Democrat School Board, nothing will change.
But by electing the statewide Republican slate and local Republican delegates this November, we can send a message: Fairfax residents will not allow Steve Descano, Jeff McKay, and the rest of the progressive Democrats running Fairfax to sacrifice our safety so they can preen in the mirror about what wonderful enlightened people they are.
Democrats are fond of saying that to make an omelet, they need to break some eggs. Easy for them to say when they are the chefs and we are the eggs.
Are you tired of what’s happening in the 11th District?
Vote early. Vote Republican.
PLUS: Volunteers Needed for Early Voting Polling Places
AND
Republican Election Officers Needed for Election Day
Early voting has opened and we are encouraging all Republicans to vote early! We need to jump on the bandwagon by voting early in person or by absentee ballot. If we don’t, Republicans are in a deep hole when November 4 rolls around.
Three Early Voting locations open in Fairfax County are now open. Check here for locations and times.
To apply for an absentee ballot or to register to vote, click here: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation.
The key to the November 4th election is maintaining control of the Governor’s mansion by electing Winsome Sears; voting for John Reid for Lt. Governor; and re-electing Jason Miyares as Attorney General. Plus, it’s time to flip the House of Delegates.
Vote Early. Vote Republican.
EARLY VOTING VOLUNTEERS. Volunteers are needed to help staff Republican tables at our three 45-day voting locations. If you’re available to pass out sample ballots and answer questions about our Republican candidates, please email Rosie Oakley at chair@11cdgop.org, and she can send you links to sign up for a volunteer shift at the Fairfax Gov’t Center, the North County Govt Center in Reston, or the Mt. Vernon Gov’t Center. If the Democrats win in November, Virginia loses! Help us keep that from happening!
ELECTION OFFICERS NEEDED. The November 4th election is just five weeks away, but we are short 200 Republican Election Officers. This is not good.
Would you consider serving as an Election Officer? Election Officers work from 5 AM – 9 PM on Election Day and earn $250. Having parity with the Democrats in the November 4th election is extremely important.
The deadline to apply to be an Election Officer is this Saturday, October 4th.
If you’re willing to be an Election Officer on November 4, please call the Fairfax County Office of Elections tomorrow at 703-324-4735 or send an email to electionofficers@
To ensure election security, our best line of defense is to have an equal number of Republican and Democrat Election Officers. Please don’t let the Democrats outnumber us inside the polls!
