Believe it or not, the 2025 campaign is already underway, and there have already been exciting developments: yesterday AG Jason Miyares announced he is running for reelection as AG and Glenn Youngkin endorsed the Winsome Sears for Governor/Jason Miyares for AG ticket. We will continue to track the races and let everyone know how they can get involved in the 2025 races at the statewide and local levels.

Republicans won the White House and have slim majorities in both the House of Representatives and Senate. Most of us are still smiling about the sweet victory we won on November 5!
In addition to winning the Electoral College with 312 votes, President Trump remains on track to win the popular vote, which hasn’t happened for a Republican President since George W. Bush in 2004. In 2016, Democrats were fuming because Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but President Trump won the Electoral College. Democrats spent the next eight years decrying the Electoral College. Not anymore. (They aren’t decrying the Senate filibuster anymore, either.) The next few years undoubtedly will feature “strange new respect” from Democrats for the anti-majoritarian checks built into the Constitution and our governing institutions.
Not surprisingly, Democrats are still busy trying to upend results in PA and CA by counting illegal ballots two weeks after the Election. Sen. Bob Casey and his notorious election lawyer, Marc Elias, are working overtime to steal the Pennsylvania Senate election in cahoots with pliant local Democrats who have brazenly admitted their flouting of the law to count illegal ballots.
Thankfully, on Monday an angry, exasperated Pennsylvania Supreme Court sternly reconfirmed its earlier decision that undated mail-in ballots cannot be counted: https://justthenews.com/government/courts-law/pennsylvania-supreme-court-rules-rnc-undated-mail-ballots-cannot-be-counted?utm_source=breaking&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter. We’ll see if this is enough to get Casey and Co. to end their efforts to steal the seat.
Some of President Trump’s picks for Cabinet positions and other leadership roles are drawing both praise and fire. Those getting the greatest attention are Pete Hegseth, nominated to serve as Secretary of Defense; Tulsi Gabbard, nominated to serve as Director of National Intelligence; Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., nominated to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services; and Matt Gaetz, nominated to serve as Attorney General. There is no doubt that the Senate hearings for President Trump’s nominations will be must-see TV. President Trump’s nominees make one thing clear: it is not going to be business as usual in Washington. President Trump is determined to shake things up in the nation’s capital and wants disruptors – not insiders. President Trump is putting the entrenched, unelected bureaucracy on notice: they are part of the executive branch and they answer to the chief executive. What’s most exciting is that President Trump is developing a bench of talented young leaders, who are the future of the Republican Party.
At a UFC Heavyweight Championship Fight last Saturday night, President Trump returned to a packed house at Madison Square Garden and chants of USA. He came with an entourage, including Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK, Jr, Kid Rock; hugged his new BFF, Joe Rogan; and watched the UFC champ, Jon Jones, do the Trump Dance when he won, before presenting the President with his championship belt. On Sunday, various NFL players were in the end zones doing the Trump Dance after they scored touchdowns. People are happy and not afraid to show it!
President Trump has made winning fun, and he is well on his way to Making America Great Again!
