11CD Committee Launching Connolly Accountability Reports
Plus: Help Our Local Candidates for Delegate in 2025!
We are in the 11th Congressional District which unfortunately means that Gerry Connolly is our Representative. You’ve probably noticed that he’s suddenly become extremely vocal since beating out AOC to become the Ranking Member on the House Oversight Committee. Rather than waiting until 2026 when Connolly is running for reelection, we’ve decided to post at least one new story every week, showcasing the notable hypocrisy, incompetence, and arrogance of our Congressman. Check out our first 2 articles here: https://11cdgop.org.
In addition to this year’s important races for Governor (Winsome Sears), Lt. Governor (Pat Herrity or John Reid) and Attorney General (Jason Miyares), the entire House of Delegates is running for election in 2025. Currently, Democrats hold a 51-49 advantage, which means if we could flip a couple of seats, we would have a majority. Did you know there is not a single Republican representing Fairfax County in Richmond in either in the House of Delegates or the State Senate?
We are fixing to change that.
Congratulations to the candidates below, who submitted their paperwork, including petition signatures, prior to the April 3 deadline and are the official Republican nominees in their House of Delegates races in November. The Districts these candidates are running to represent are located in part or all of the 11th Congressional District, so one of them could be your candidate for the House of Delegates. They can’t do it alone – they need your help!

This past Saturday, April 12, the Republican Party of Virginia’s State Central Committee elected Sen. Mark Peake, who represents Bedford County, Campbell County, and the City of Lynchburg in the Virginia state Senate, to serve as RPV Chairman. Chairman Peake succeeds Rich Anderson, who has been nominated to serve as an Assistant Secretary of the Air Force. The SCC elected Peake by a vote of 62-15 over Loudoun GOP Chairman Scott Pio. Congratulations to Chairman Peake! The 11th District Committee looks forward to working with him in this important election year.
Best wishes to former Chairman Anderson as he prepares for his confirmation hearing in a few weeks. We appreciate his service to the Commonwealth and now to our nation.
