11th District Chair Attends Historic RNC Midterm Convention

Virginia’s 11th Congressional District Republican Committee Chairman Matt Braynard joined Republicans from across the country in Dallas for the historic RNC Midterm Convention, attending as an alternate with the Virginia delegation.

Held September 9–10 at the American Airlines Center, the gathering was the RNC’s first midterm convention. Virginia was well represented, with a strong presence on the convention floor and plenty of Commonwealth spirit throughout the trip.

From the Virginia delegation’s seats in the arena to conversations and gatherings around Dallas, the convention offered a chance to connect with fellow Republicans and share the excitement of the moment. Among the highlights was a visit with Morton Blackwell, pictured below with Chairman Braynard.

We came back to Virginia full of energy and ready to put it to work. The enthusiasm we brought home is matched by our determination to deliver historic outcomes in the November election—and to carry that spirit into the work ahead across the 11th District.
